Taineiji  is a temple of Soto sect in Nagato, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.
In autumn, it has beautiful autumn leaves and is crowded with tourists .

I went there on November 14th. There were many tourists and cars were jammed.
The area near  river was  very beautiful with autumn leaves. It seemed to be lit up at night. The Japanese maple  leaves are very beautiful.

There are carp in the pond in the precinct and you can feed them. A shrine was in the temple. The foxies  were also wearing a mask.

There are  a number of legends surrounding the temple, including one that tells of Yoshitaka Ouchi, a daimyo military commander, catching sight of his reflection in a nearby pond, and sensing from its reflection that his end was close.
The pond of Yoshitaka Ouchi story remains .You can see it in the temple now.
